This is a simple tutorial that illustrates creating a perfect polygon cylinder using the grid rotation function in JED.
Start with the default box.
You should be looking at this:

Rotate the grid 30 degrees counter-clockwise:
(SHIFT+PAGEUP three (3) times)

Straighten the grid to view by using the follow menu command:

Cleave off the indicated corners and delete them:

Rotate the grid another 30 degrees counter-clockwise:
(SHIFT+PAGEUP three (3) times)

Straighten the grid to view:

Cleave off and delete the indicated corners again:


|
Switch to the default JED top view:
(SHIFT+1)

Now you have your perfect polygon cylinder made by grid rotation and you are ready to move on to the next grid rotation tutorial.
